Fireclamp FR Board
Quick and easy application for both large and small seals
Firebreak FR Boards are stone mineral wool boards coated on both faces with a flexible fire resistant ablative coating.
They are used to form fire and smoke stop seals able to reinstate the fire resistance of separating walls and floors when penetrated by a wide range of building services.
- Independently tested to EN 1366-3: 2009 providing up to 2 hours fire resistance
- Tested in conjunction with a wide range of service penetrations including bunched cables, large power cables, steel and copper pipes and fire dampers
- Can be used in conjunction with 100mm thick lightweight (plasterboard) partitions
- Seal designs available for large openings in both walls (1200mm wide x 1800mm high) and floors (1400mm x 500mm)
- Tested with various installation options including pattress fixings
- Safe: free of breathable fibres and halogens
- Easy to use: can be easily cut using simple hand tools
- Supplied in a standard 1200mm x 600mm x 50mm board size
- Quick to install using Fireclamp A sealant
- Seals are easily modified and reinstated to allow for later installation of additional services
